Hello, I am Karron, 10 years old boy.
Some may know me through Skype.
Recently, I can sit like this and hold my neck up.
I can see things in the different view and feel how humans see things.

Let me introduce my sister Lien, a shy girl and please look at a picture below.

It's another Rainy Season in Japan

September is a transitional period from the summer to the autumn in Japan.
Some days are hot, but the night is getting cooler than in August.
One of the typical seasonal events is the attack of typhoon.
We have had seventeen typhoons this year already and the seventeenth one brought huge damage in Kanto area, which is surrounding area of Tokyo, where the Kinu river in Ibaragi prefecture was flooded and took cars, houses and even human lives away.

The traffic signage in the photo shows the warning, "Heavy rain warning has been issued, Travel Caution".

The graph below shows the average amount of rainfall, the hours of sunlight and average temperature in each month for 30 yeas (1981~2010) in Tokyo.

The amount of rainfall in September is heavier than that in June, and the hours of sunlight  in September is shorter than that in June.
Why don't we say September is now rainy season?

(Japan Meteorological Agency: http://www.data.jma.go.jp/obd/stats/etrn/view/nml_sfc_ym.php?prec_no=44&block_no=47662&year=&month=&day=&view=p1)

I had an appointment in such a heavy rain near the Tokyo Tower,  where one of the famous neighbors was Zojoji temple, cemetery for Tokugawa Shogun Clan.  In addition to this, Zojoji is famous among fans for "the Lord of the Rings".
The photo below is the Zojoji in the rain, where the ring of "the Lord of the Rings" has been dedicated.
The tower in the right is the Tokyo Tower, supposed to be "Sauron" at the event of the dedication of the ring.

Life Sustaining Treatment

My mother, 81 years old, ate a piece of bread that clogged her throat and made her stop breathing.  Then my dad and brother called an ambulance and this happened on the last Tuesday, June 16th..
She had been unconscious for 5 days and in a coma on her hospital bed at the CCU room and she started breathing without artificial ventilation on Saturday but  with very weak brain wave.
Fortunately she is still alive, but unconscious now due to cardiopulmonary resuscitation comprising of an artificial hydration and nutrition, intubation and mechanical ventilation.

The doctor recommended that she needs to be on a life sustaining treatment, such as Tracheotomy for airway management and Grastrostomy for nutrition.

My mother told us that she would not like to be under life sustain treatment and she wants to have a natural death.  She has been suffering from Parkinson's disease for 6 years and she knew that now it is her time.

Some articles revealed that the spirit of a comatose person leaves the body and float around the bed. This spirit hovers over the body and sees it from the birds view angle.
Unfortunately, I did not feel her spirit around her bed.  She is still alive and I will be looking for her spirit for a while.

The five days transition of blooming

Here below is the transition of cherry blossoms and please find how fast it has changed.
The left picture was shot on Saturday, the center on Monday and the right one on Wednesday.
You can see how quick cherry blossoms bloom in a few days.

The weather was different everyday, so they look different, but I was so surprised at the dynamics of cherry blossoms.

We can see the difference between the left tree and the right.
The right is almost ending the peak of blooming, and the left is just in the mid of blooming.

Some people may say the right which is peak and it is no longer fun to watch.
However, a week ago, the left was slow to bloom and someone might say "it is not fun, because of no flowers".  People say something about blooming, but no one says "cut them down if they won't bloom".  We may know they will bloom someday and it will bring us fun.

The Tokyo Tower

January 31st is my wife's birthday and January 9th is mine.
My second son cerebrated us to have lunch at the nice French restaurant he recommended.

After lunch, we went to the Tokyo Tower (height: 333m), constructed in October, 1958 for broadcasting Radio and TV waves, but it has ended up its all transmissions in 2013, and the Tokyo Skytree (height: 634m) has replaced with transmissions since 2013.

Shrinking Country

Japan is shrinking! according to the article "The incredible shrinking country" by The Economist on March 25, 2014.

http://www.economist.com/blogs/banyan/2014/03/japans-demography

The message is very simple; the population in Japan is decreasing to 87 million until 2060, currently 127 million people, and increasing up to 40% which will be 65 or elder.

The solution seems simple; somebody says that Japan has to accept the immigrants, otherwise we will suffer with shortage of labor power.

It may right solution but I am still not sure if Japanese people accept the immigrants due to the history.

However, the question is; we, Japanese people, really wants to provide the opportunities for elderly people.

Sports day and Olympics in Japan

On the 10th of October in 1964, the opening ceremony of the first Olympic games in Japan was held in Tokyo and set as a national holiday in 1966 named as "Sports day" for a memorial. It was a symbol of Japan's reconstruction from World War II and good opportunity to develop Japanese economy, then Japan moved to the high economic growth era.

After the first summer Olympic games in Japan, the winter games hosted twice in 1972 at Sapporo and 1998 at Nagano. Particularly, Nagano Olympic left a lot of debt and local goverment was forced to repayment prior to civil services.

6 years later, Tokyo will host another summer Olympic games and Japanese government motivates people to make it a success in several aspects; the economic revitalization, the opportunities to share the Japanese hospitality and courtesy, so-called "O-Mo-Te-Na-Shi",
activation of tourism in Japan the trigger new inventions and services.

The reason why today is a national holiday is because of "Happy Monday System" which has been legislated to encourage to take five days workweek system and Sports day has been set on the second Monday in October since 2000.

Japanese men suspected for planning to join ISIS

According to PANGEA TODAY, Japanese men suspected for planning to join ISIS.

This article didn't touch upon why they were suspected guilty.

NHK NEWSweb mentioned that they were suspected for planning to fight against other countries with personal reasons. It will be the violation of criminal law.

The arrest of Japanese men brought hot discussions in the net. Someone said, "How is about those who are working for the manufacturers producing military goods or equipment in Japan?" and "this is a violation of the freedom of travel, freedom of speech, freedom of thought and freedom of religion."

We could say, at least, the authority is trying to supervise and control our activities.

Brain and Mind

Paralyzed Man Moves His Hand through Mind Control "

This article is from RareJob official article on September 20, 2014.

http://rarejobdailynewsarticle.blogspot.jp/2014/09/paralyzed-man-moves-his-hand-through.html

I am just wondering what is the difference between brain and mind.
An answer is not so simple, it depends if we believe mind controls our brain.
Otherwise, mind exists within brain and mind is also projected by brain.
Whoever came back from near-death experience saw the same scenery such as watching themselves through the bird view angle and feeling the"Calling "from heaven with flash beams.
Those scenery has been told by their parents for long time in their childhood.
So brain remembers those scenery as memories and those are projected at the moment of death.

It will be helpful for us to understand by listening to what those who came back from near-death experience or heavy injury in brain.

Minimum Wages

America's working poor is interesting topics because working condition seems to be alike in both US and Japan.

According to The Huffington Post, minimum wage in US is around $8/hour, and this is very close to that of Japan.

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/nora-t-akins/the-hourly-rate-of-povert_b_5837780.html

http://www.mhlw.go.jp/stf/seisakunitsuite/bunya/koyou_roudou/roudoukijun/minimumichiran/

In addition to them, in Philippine, most areas have around $7/day besides Manila.

http://www.nwpc.dole.gov.ph/pages/statistics/stat_current_regional.html

President Obama is trying to raise the wages up to $10/hour in two years because the hourly poverty level is now $9/hour.

Now we know that the wages in working class is almost the same in both US and Japan, and that those in US and Japan are 8 times higher than that of Philippine.

Other question is; " is the productivity 8 times higher?" , or "are daily life cost and living cost 8 times higher?"

I need further investigation and I will report it when I have done.

Endorsement

Endorsement from famous people is very popular these days, so that commercial products looks more attractive, trustworthy and gets popular among other hundreds thousands of products.

Something important is to be consistent among the types of products or services they endorse, otherwise they will mislead and get people confused in the attitude towards those who endorsed things inconsistently.
